Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Trichometrics mobile application (the "App") operated by Trichometrics ("we", "us", or "our").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Trichometrics is a mobile application that provides:

AI-powered hair health analysis based on photos you submit
Progress photo tracking and comparison tools
Treatment tracking with reminders and logging
Hair health insights and recommendations

3. Medical Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: Trichometrics is NOT a medical device and does NOT provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The App is intended for informational and educational purposes only.

Analysis results are generated by AI and may not be accurate
Results should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice
Always consult a qualified healthcare provider or dermatologist for medical concerns
Do not delay seeking medical advice based on information from the App
Treatment tracking is for personal organization only and does not constitute medical guidance

4. User Accounts

To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
Maintain the security of your account credentials
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

5. Subscription and Payments

The App offers both free and premium subscription tiers:

Free Tier: Limited number of analyses per month
Premium Tier: Increased analysis limits and additional features

Premium subscriptions are billed through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). Subscription terms, pricing, and cancellation policies are governed by the respective app store's terms.

Deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription; cancel it in the App Store or Google Play before deleting your account.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of all photos and data you submit to the App ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a limited license to:

Store and process your photos for analysis purposes
Display your content back to you within the App
Create backups for data integrity purposes
Publish, display, and screen content you choose to post in the community, as described in Section 8

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to submit any User Content and that it does not violate any laws or third-party rights.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Submit content that infringes on intellectual property rights
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
Interfere with or disrupt the App or servers
Use the App to collect information about other users
Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the App
Use automated systems or software to extract data from the App

8. Community

The App and trichometrics.com include a community where members can read, post, comment, like, report, and block. Your use of the community is also governed by the Community Guidelines (trichometrics.com/community/guidelines), which form part of these Terms.

Who can take part: You must be at least 16 years old to use the community. Guests can read it; to post, comment, like, or report, you need a verified account that is not a guest account, and you must accept the Community Guidelines. We may ask you to accept an updated version before you post again.
Public content: Content you post in the community ("Community Content") is public. It is shown to everyone who opens the community in the App and, on trichometrics.com, where search engines may index it. Do not post anything you want to keep private.
License: You keep ownership of your Community Content. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format (for example, resize or compress), publish, and display it in the App and on trichometrics.com, to let other users view and share it, and to send it to our service providers for automated screening. This license ends when your Community Content is deleted, except for copies other users have already shared, copies held by third parties such as search engines, and records we must keep for legal reasons.
Not medical advice: Community Content reflects members' personal experiences. It is not medical advice, is not reviewed by medical professionals, and is not endorsed by us. Talk to a qualified healthcare professional before starting, changing, or stopping any treatment.
What you must not post: You agree not to post content that:
- is illegal, sexual, or nude, or involves minors
- harasses, threatens, mocks, or insults others, or contains hate speech or slurs
- shows another person or a child
- shares personal information about you or anyone else, such as names, phone numbers, email addresses, home addresses, or social media handles
- sells, buys, sources, or advertises medicines, supplements, devices, clinics, or services, or contains spam, affiliate links, or referral codes
- tells others what or how much to take, or presents dangerous or false health claims, such as cures or advice against medical consensus, as fact
- you do not have the right to share, or that infringes someone else's rights
- impersonates anyone, including Trichometrics
Screening and moderation: We check posts, comments, and edits automatically before they appear, using filters and an AI service, as described in the Privacy Policy. We may publish, hold for review, refuse, hide, or remove any Community Content, and we may suspend or remove your ability to post, temporarily or permanently, if we believe it breaks these Terms or the Community Guidelines, or where the law requires it. Several rejected items in a short time can remove posting access automatically. Screening and moderation are not perfect, and we do not guarantee that all content that breaks the rules will be caught or removed. We may report illegal content to the relevant authorities.
Reporting and blocking: You can report posts and comments and block members in the App and on trichometrics.com. We aim to review reports and held items within 24 hours.
Questions and appeals: If you think we made a mistake about your content or posting access, or you want to report illegal content, contact support@trichometrics.com and a person will review it.
Responsibility: You are responsible for your Community Content. Content posted by other members is theirs, and to the extent permitted by law we are not responsible for it.

9. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are owned by Trichometrics and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI analysis results
We are not liable for any decisions made based on App information
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the past 12 months

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Trichometrics and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the App at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting your account through the App settings.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
