1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Trichometrics is a mobile application that provides:

  • AI-powered hair health analysis based on photos you submit
  • Progress photo tracking and comparison tools
  • Treatment tracking with reminders and logging
  • Hair health insights and recommendations

3. Medical Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: Trichometrics is NOT a medical device and does NOT provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The App is intended for informational and educational purposes only.

  • Analysis results are generated by AI and may not be accurate
  • Results should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice
  • Always consult a qualified healthcare provider or dermatologist for medical concerns
  • Do not delay seeking medical advice based on information from the App
  • Treatment tracking is for personal organization only and does not constitute medical guidance

4. User Accounts

To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

5. Subscription and Payments

The App offers both free and premium subscription tiers:

  • Free Tier: Limited number of analyses per month
  • Premium Tier: Increased analysis limits and additional features

Premium subscriptions are billed through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). Subscription terms, pricing, and cancellation policies are governed by the respective app store's terms.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of all photos and data you submit to the App ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a limited license to:

  • Store and process your photos for analysis purposes
  • Display your content back to you within the App
  • Create backups for data integrity purposes

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to submit any User Content and that it does not violate any laws or third-party rights.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Submit content that infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App or servers
  • Use the App to collect information about other users
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the App
  • Use automated systems or software to extract data from the App

8. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are owned by Trichometrics and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI analysis results
  • We are not liable for any decisions made based on App information
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the past 12 months

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Trichometrics and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the App at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting your account through the App settings.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
